Alistair Crozier Appointed CEO of Hotel Council Aotearoa

Hotel Council Aotearoa (HCA) has announced the appointment of Alistair Crozier as its new CEO, set to commence on September 28. The appointment comes after a thorough search process, and HCA's board is confident that Crozier brings the necessary leadership skills to take the organisation to the next level.

Crozier has over 25 years of experience in leadership, advocacy, diplomacy, and stakeholder engagement across various sectors, including government, international relations, local government, and membership-based organisations. Most recently, he served as executive director of the New Zealand China Council, where he led strategy, member engagement, advocacy, communications, governance reporting, sponsorship, and financial management.

HCA's chair, Lani Hagaman, expressed her delight at securing Crozier's services, highlighting his exceptional combination of advocacy, leadership, and relationship management skills. She believes that Crozier is well-equipped to help HCA navigate the complexities of the hotel industry and build strong relationships with business leaders, government decision-makers, and industry partners.

Crozier himself expressed his excitement at taking on the role, stating that he is looking forward to working with HCA's members, board, and partners to continue building a strong, respected, and effective industry association.
