Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, is preparing to issue its first Australian dollar bond. The tech giant has hired several major banks to arrange the transaction, including ANZ, Deutsche Bank, RBC Capital Markets, and TD Securities.

The potential sale follows a significant financing push by Alphabet, which raised $25 billion through dollar bonds earlier in August after completing an almost $85 billion equity offering in June.

The company is considering issuing 3-, 5-, 10-, and 20-year bonds. The shorter maturities may carry fixed or floating rates, while the longer-dated debt would use fixed rates.
