Asian Stocks Rally on Cooling Inflation Trends

Asian stock markets rallied on Thursday as new data from the United States showed a cooling of inflation, reducing the likelihood of a Federal Reserve rate hike next month.

The US consumer prices reported only a modest rise of 0.1% in July, aligning with predictions and possibly diminishing the chances of an interest rate decision from the Fed in the near term.

In response to this development, Asian stocks made gains, with the broader Asia-Pacific stock index outside Japan rising by over 1%. South Korean stocks contributed significantly to this increase, growing by 3.78%, while Japan's Nikkei index saw a 1.67% boost driven by strong earnings expectations and activity in chip-related stocks.

However, despite these market gains, oil prices weakened on concerns over demand, affecting economic conditions globally.
