The MSCI Asia-Pacific equities gauge increased by 0.5%, putting it on track for a fourth consecutive weekly advance, its longest winning streak since May.
The Kospi Index in South Korea led the region with a 1% gain, driven by Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which have seen their advances for the week reach around 15%.
