The Australian dollar (AUD) against the Indian rupee (INR) has been steadily increasing, currently trading at ₹67.7501. This modest daily gain is a reflection of sustained momentum in the current trading session.
As per recent data released by Timesofindia Indiatimes, India's foreign exchange reserves increased by $14.136 billion to $707.002 billion in the week ending August 7, 2026. This expansion provides the Reserve Bank of India with greater capacity to manage rupee stability and currency market interventions.
Technical analysis suggests that AUD/INR maintains a bullish structure above key averages with strong momentum signals, expected to trade within the ₹67.4113-₹68.0889 range over the next 2-3 days. However, despite this optimism, analysts caution against signs of overbought technical conditions and potential volatility.
