AUD Soars as Strong Labor Data and Hawkish RBA Boost Confidence
The Australian Dollar (AUD) rose modestly against the US Dollar (USD), reaching $0.7036, as data on ANZ, Indeed Job Ads indicated a strong labor market in Australia.
A recent report showed that job ads increased by 2% in July, signaling resilient domestic employment growth and boosting confidence in the Australian economy.
The Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) hawkish stance on monetary policy has also contributed to the AUD's strength, as market participants expect tighter policy to combat persistent inflation concerns.
From a technical perspective, the AUD/USD pair is trading above its key moving averages and is positioned within a narrow range between $0.7001 and $0.7071.
