AUD Surges Against VND on Technical Momentum, Warns of Overbought Conditions
The Australian Dollar (AUD) has surged against the Vietnamese Dong (VND) due to technical momentum, despite lacking fresh catalysts. The pair's price has been supported by its position above all major moving averages, indicating a constructive trend alignment.
According to recent analysis, the AUD/VND is trading above its 20-day, 50-day, and 200-day moving averages, suggesting positive short-, medium-, and long-term trend momentum. However, the 50-day versus 200-day setup still indicates a bearish long-term structure.
The resistance level stands at ₫18,542, while support is at ₫18,420. Several indicators suggest caution as price approaches this resistance, with some warning of possible overbought conditions.
