AUD/USD Stabilizes Ahead of RBA, Fed Decisions Amid Persistent Inflation Concerns

The Australian Dollar (AUD) has stabilized ahead of key decisions from the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and the Federal Reserve. The AUD/USD exchange rate is currently trading around 0.6990, after recovering from earlier losses. Market participants are closely watching RBA Governor Michele Bullock's upcoming remarks for guidance on policy.

Meanwhile, investors remain cautious due to persistent inflation concerns and market uncertainty surrounding a potential July Fed rate hike. Data from the CME FedWatch Tool indicates that markets assign nearly a 38% probability to a rate hike in July, with a 81.4% implied probability of at least a 25-basis-point rate hike in September.

The US Dollar has shown resilience despite easing geopolitical tensions and softer oil prices. President Donald Trump's comments on 'good talks' with Iran have contributed to a decline in oil prices, which in turn eased concerns around inflation. However, the US Dollar remains broadly supported.
