Australia Employment Report Due: Will Steady Unemployment Rate Boost AUD?
Australia's July employment report is set to be released on Thursday at 01:30 GMT, with analysts predicting a modest 15K increase in job creation. The Unemployment Rate is expected to remain steady at 4.4%, and the Participation Rate is forecasted to stand at 66.9%. The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) will also report full-time and part-time positions, which are important indicators for the economy.
According to the ABS, June saw Australia add 47K part-time positions and a modest 29.3K full-time ones. Labor market conditions have eased by more than expected in recent months, but labor market leading indicators point to only limited easing in the near term.
