Australia's consumer inflation expectations have rebounded in August 2026, reaching 4.9%. This marks a rise from July's six-month low of 4.7%, indicating persistent price pressures in the country.
The trimmed mean CPI has been steadily increasing, rising to 3.6% year-on-year in June, matching its fastest pace since September 2024.
