Australian Unemployment Rate Expected to Hold Steady in July

Australia's unemployment rate is expected to hold steady at 4.4% in July, according to forecasts.

The country may have added 15K new jobs in the month, a lower figure than the 76.3K gained in June.

The Australian Dollar (AUD) has seen upward momentum ahead of the employment report, which will be released on Thursday at 01:30 GMT.

Valeria Bednarik, Chief Analyst at FXStreet, notes that technically, the AUD/USD pair is bullish, with buyers aligned around the 100-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) at around 0.7060.
