The Central Bank of Azerbaijan maintained its currency's parity against the US dollar at 1.7000, a rate unchanged since January 2021.

Azerbaijan's economy is heavily reliant on oil exports, with the country's benchmark Azeri Light crude trading at $95.13 per barrel.

The fixed exchange rate has provided stability for both importers and exporters, particularly those involved in the Trans-Caspian Middle Corridor.
