Azerbaijan Manat Exchange Rates Hold Steady Despite Euro and Ruble Slips
The Azerbaijani manat maintained its exchange rate against the US dollar this week, remaining unchanged at 1.7000 manats per dollar, according to data from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The weighted average exchange rate for the week was also 1.7000 manats.
However, the official exchange rate against the euro fell by 0.0111 manat, with a weighted average decrease of 0.00178 manat compared to the previous week, reaching 1.94082 manats per euro.
The value of 100 Russian rubles also decreased, falling by 0.0034 manats and decreasing in weighted average rate by 0.0281 manats compared to last week, at 2.17074 manats per 100 rubles.
Additionally, the official exchange rate against the Turkish lira fell by 0.0001 manat this week, with a weighted average decrease of 0.00012 manats compared to the previous week, reaching 0.03598 manats per lira.
