Bank of Canada Unveils 2027 Interest Rate Announcement Schedule
The Bank of Canada has released its schedule for policy interest rate announcements and other major publications for 2027. The central bank will make eight interest rate announcement decisions, with the first one set to take place on January 27, followed by regular announcements every two months thereafter.
The scheduled dates for the interest rate announcements are as follows: January 27, March 3, April 28, June 2, July 21, September 8, October 27, and December 8. The Monetary Policy Report will be published concurrently with the January, April, July, and October rate announcements.
The Bank of Canada has also confirmed its schedule for the release of the Business Outlook Survey and the Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations. The survey releases will take place on January 18, April 19, July 12, and October 18.
The Financial Stability Report is scheduled to be released on May 18.
