Bank of England Holds Key Rate Amid Iran Conflict Concerns
The Bank of England has maintained its key interest rate at 3.75%, marking the fifth consecutive hold this year.
This decision was made after a larger-than-expected decline in inflation, which provided policymakers with more time to assess the economic impact of the renewed conflict in Iran.
Although inflation has been moderating, the resurgence of hostilities between Iran and the US in the Middle East has raised concerns that energy costs could climb again.
