Bank of England Taps New Leaders for Enforcement Committee
The Bank of England has appointed Nicholas Segal as Chair and Peter King as Deputy Chair of its Enforcement Decision Making Committee (EDMC).
The EDMC is responsible for making decisions in contested enforcement cases across various areas, including prudential regulation, financial market infrastructures, and resolution.
Sir William Blair's term as EDMC Chair expired at the end of July 2023, and Philip Marsden's term as Deputy Chair also ended on that date.
David Roberts, the Chair of the Court of the Bank of England, welcomed Segal and King to their new roles, praising their deep legal knowledge and experience.
