Bank Seeks Receivership for Companies Tied to Ontario Skills Scandal
A Canadian bank is seeking to recoup $4.5 million from a company linked to Ontario's Skills Development Fund scandal.
National Bank of Canada has filed an application with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice to place Keel Digital Solutions and its subsidiary Get A-Head, as well as a third company Amerimind AI, into receivership.
The bank alleges that these companies have not made payments on loans and Mastercard accounts since last March.
A court hearing is scheduled for October 5 to consider the application. If granted, a receiver would take control of the assets and operations of Keel Digital Solutions and its subsidiaries to protect creditors' interests.
