BCSE Trading: Dollar, Euro, and Yuan Rise as Russian Rouble Falls
The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) trading session on August 27 saw significant movements in various currencies. The dollar, euro, and yuan all rose against the Belarusian ruble, while the Russian ruble fell.
The US dollar increased by 0.98%, or 2.95 kopecks, to reach a rate of 3.0341 rubles. This marks a modest gain in the dollar's value against the Belarusian currency.
The euro also recorded an uptick, rising by 0.64% or 2.25 kopecks to 3.5279 rubles. In contrast, the Russian ruble experienced a decline of 0.6%, or 2.15 kopecks, with its rate dropping to 3.5617 Belarusian rubles per 100 Russian rubles.
The yuan was another currency that showed an increase, gaining 1.11% or 4.96 kopecks. Ten Chinese yuan were valued at 4.536 rubles during the trading session.
