Belarus Rubel Weakens Across Major Currencies
The Belarusian rubel has weakened against several major currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) on August 25.
Against the US dollar, it dropped to 3.0155, a decline not seen in recent weeks. The rubel also fell to 3.5104 per euro but managed to climb to 3.5796 per Russian ruble.
Last week, the Belarusian currency had strengthened against the dollar by 0.5 percent and against the yuan by 0.68 percent, but weakened against the euro by 0.83 percent and against the Russian ruble by 0.78 percent.
