Belarus Rubel Weakens Across Major Currencies on BCSE
The Belarusian rubel has depreciated against major currencies on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE). As of August 12, it traded at 2.977 against the US dollar.
It also dropped to 3.429 per euro and 4.4492 per 10 yuan, but rose slightly to 3.5869 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week, the Belarusian currency weakened by 1.47 percent against the dollar and 2.3 percent against the yuan, but rose by 0.87 percent against the euro and 0.92 percent against the Russian ruble.
For the first seven months of this year, the rubel has lost 0.37 percent of its value against the US dollar on the BCSE.
