Belarus Rubel Weakens Against Dollar, Euro, Yuan at BCSE
The Belarusian rubel has weakened against several major currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
As of August 24, the rubel was trading at 2.982 against the US dollar.
In addition to the dollar, the rubel also dropped to 3.4811 per euro and to 4.4517 per 10 yuan.
However, it did climb to 3.5955 per 100 Russian rubles.
A comparison of the past week's exchange rates shows that the rubel strengthened by 0.5 percent against the dollar and 0.68 percent against the yuan.
But it weakened by 0.83 percent against the euro and 0.78 percent against the Russian ruble.
The first seven months of 2026 have seen a 0.37 percent loss for the Belarusian currency against the dollar.
