Belarusian Rubel Drops Against Major Currencies in Final Week of Trading
The Belarusian rubel has weakened against major currencies in its final week of trading. The BCSE reported that the rubel is now at 2.9906 against the US dollar, a 1.43% decrease from the previous week. It also dropped to 3.4448 per euro and 4.4703 per 10 yuan but climbed to 3.5719 per 100 Russian rubles.
The Belarusian currency's performance against other currencies in the outgoing week varies, with a 1.28% drop against the euro and a 1.31% decline against the yuan. However, it showed resilience against the Russian ruble, rising by 1.58%.
Looking at its overall performance this year, the Belarusian currency has lost 0.37% against the dollar in the first seven months of 2026.
