Belarusian Rubel Rebounds Against Major Currencies

The Belarusian rubel has strengthened against several major currencies on September 9. At the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BSCE), it reached 3.0197 against the US dollar.

This represents a rebound for the rubel, which depreciated by 1.17 percent against the dollar in the week of August 31 - September 4. Over the first eight months of this year, the Belarusian currency lost 4.72 percent against the dollar.
