Belarusian Rubel Weakens Against Major Currencies This Week

The rubel has seen significant fluctuations in value against major currencies this week. At the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), it has weakened to 3.0396 against the US dollar. This is a decline of 2.15 percent against the dollar over the past week, from August 24 to 28.

The rubel has also dropped in value against other major currencies. It now stands at 3.5305 per euro and 3.5623 per 100 Russian rubles. However, it has shown some resilience against the yuan, climbing to 4.5321 per 10 yuan.

In terms of its overall performance this week, the rubel's decline against the dollar is notable. It has also declined by 2.07 percent against the yuan and 1.64 percent against the euro. However, it has strengthened by 1.04 percent against the Russian ruble over the same period.
