Belarusian Ruble Strengthens Against U.S. Dollar and Euro
The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange closed its trading session on July 24th with mixed results for various currencies. The U.S. dollar and euro both fell against the Belarusian ruble, while the Russian ruble posted a slight gain.
The U.S. dollar declined by 0.17%, or 0.48 kopecks, to 2.8805 Belarusian rubles. This represents a relatively small drop in value compared to other currencies.
Meanwhile, the euro weakened by 0.56%, or 1.85 kopecks, to 3.2715 Belarusian rubles. The Chinese yuan also lost ground, declining by 0.44%, or 1.88 kopecks, to 4.2565 Belarusian rubles for every ten yuan.
The Russian ruble was the only currency to show a gain, rising by 0.03%, or 0.12 kopecks. It is valued at 3.6866 Belarusian rubles for every hundred Russian rubles traded.
