Billionaires' Secret Bunkers Built in Swiss Mountains
Construction has begun on high-security secret underground vaults for billionaires in central Switzerland's Brünig mountain massif. The project, led by entrepreneur Thomas Gasser and his company Brünig Mega Safe, aims to create a safe haven for the world's wealthiest individuals' assets.
The bunkers are being built more than 100 meters below ground to protect against global catastrophes, nuclear or military attacks, and various man-made disasters. The security system is comparable to that of the Swiss National Bank's vaults, with multiple biometric and technical checks required for access.
According to reports, the underground complex will feature up to 25 special safe rooms, where billionaires can store gold reserves, large amounts of cash, rare works of art, and luxury cars. The lease rights for these rooms are available for 99 years at a cost of up to €1 million per year.
Gasser praised the project's security system in an interview with Swiss broadcaster RTS: 'The level of security here must fully comply with the strictest standards used in the vaults of the Swiss National Bank.'
