Bitcoin Holds Ground Near $65K Amid Inflation and Geopolitical Risks

Bitcoin maintained its position near $65,000 on Monday, after a surge driven by weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs data.

The world's largest cryptocurrency was trading at $65,159.4 as of 05:33 ET (09:33 GMT), up 0.4% from the previous day.

The move above $65,000 came after Friday's labor market report showed a significant drop in U.S. payrolls and downward revisions for May and June, reducing expectations for near-term Federal Reserve tightening.

As investors await Wednesday's U.S. consumer price index report, which will provide further guidance on the Fed's policy trajectory, Bitcoin's recent recovery has coincided with global equity benchmarks trading near record highs, helping sustain broader risk appetite and supporting digital asset prices.
