Bitcoin Price Surge Triggers Virtual Asset-Related Stocks Jump
Bitcoin's price surge to its highest level in over three months has triggered a significant increase in virtual asset-related stocks listed on the U.S. stock market.
The price of Bitcoin reached $82,200 during the day on June 4th, its highest level since May.
Ethereum also saw a notable rise, increasing by about 66% to the $2,507 mark after falling to $1,506 in mid-June.
Analysts attribute this surge to eased concerns over further interest rate hikes by the U.S. Federal Reserve and growing instability in the U.S. fiscal and government bond markets.
In addition, concerns over the dilution of the dollar's value are driving investors towards alternative assets such as gold and Bitcoin.
