Bitcoin Rallies Above $80K on Improved Risk Sentiment
Bitcoin (BTC) is trading above $80,000 on Friday after a 5% rally in the previous session. The market's improved risk sentiment comes as Fed Governor Christopher Waller expressed hesitation to lift borrowing rates at the central bank's September meeting if August inflation data shows easing price pressures.
The latest leg higher has come despite historically weaker performance from Bitcoin in September, with a 3.5% gain so far this month.
Attention will be focused on next week's inflation data and today's nonfarm payroll report, which is expected to show 56,000 jobs added in August after July's loss of 23,000 jobs.
