BoC Keeps Interest Rate Unchanged Despite Sticky Inflation
The Bank of Canada is expected to keep its interest rate at 2.25% on Wednesday, according to market predictions.
This would be the seventh consecutive gathering with the central bank sitting on the fence.
Despite sticky inflation, which has been revised higher, the BoC is not anticipated to raise rates immediately.
The Canadian Dollar has given away some of its recent August gains, but markets still pencil in just over 2 basis points of extra tightening by year-end.
