BoE Dampens Sterling Optimism with Rate Expectation Revisions

The Bank of England (BoE) kept its policy rate at 3.75% for a fifth straight meeting, with a 6-3 vote.

Brown Brothers Harriman's Elias Haddad sees room for United Kingdom (UK) rate expectations to be revised lower, which would weigh on the British Pound (GBP).

Haddad notes that the swaps curve implies 50bps of tightening to 4.35% in the next twelve months.
