BoE Expected to Keep Interest Rate Steady Amid Easing Inflation Outlook
The Bank of England (BoE) is likely to keep its interest rate unchanged at 3.75% at its upcoming July 30 monetary policy meeting, according to a Reuters poll of 70 economists.
No respondents expect a change in interest rates at next week's meeting, and the median forecast sees the rate remaining steady through the middle of next year.
Economists have revised down their inflation forecast for the year from 3.3% to 3.1%, but left the outlook for economic growth unchanged at 1% this year.
