BOE Keeps Key Rate at 3.75% Amid Inflation Drop and Middle East Tensions
The Bank of England's monetary policy committee voted to keep the key interest rate at 3.75% for the fifth time this year, aligning with economists' expectations.
This decision comes after a larger-than-expected drop in inflation last month gave policymakers breathing space to assess the impact of renewed fighting in Iran.
The bank has kept the rate at 3.75% since December, following four rate cuts in 2025.
