BOJ Sees Continued Normalization Amidst Japan's Economic Revival

The Bank of Japan (BOJ) is set to continue normalizing its monetary policy following decades of maintaining an aggressively loose setting, according to IMF's No. 2 official Dan Katz.

Katz attributes this change to the country undergoing a 'very significant long-term transformation,' with structural reforms launched under former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe only now beginning to bear fruit.

This transformation is giving the BOJ room to keep normalizing its policy, allowing for an economic revival and providing a more stable environment for growth.
