Borrin Foundation Te Pae Tawhiti Scholarship Supports New Zealand Law Graduates
The Borrin Foundation Te Pae Tawhiti Postgraduate Scholarship is a financial aid program for New Zealand law graduates who face financial barriers and complex life circumstances. The scholarship aims to promote diversity, inclusion, and access to justice in the legal profession of Aotearoa New Zealand.
The scholarship offers awards of up to $40,000 for one-year programs and up to $80,000 for multi-year degrees. Funding can be used for tuition fees, living expenses, economy-class airfare, and other essential study-related costs.
Priorities will be given to applicants from underrepresented communities, those facing complex life circumstances, and individuals committed to improving access to justice, particularly in criminal justice, family law, and civil justice. The scholarship supports postgraduate law programs including Master's degrees, doctoral programs, and other postgraduate law qualifications.
