Bruce Power, a Canadian-owned nuclear power plant and public-private partnership, has made significant investments in Canada's economy, committing to spend more than $13.3 billion over the next 18 months. This investment is part of the company's 'Canadian at our Core' campaign, which aims to support Canadian businesses and workers through its operations and Life-Extension Program.

According to James Scongack, Bruce Power's Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President, 'Canadian at our Core is a key commitment that we value in the decisions we make every day.' The company has already spent more than $6.6 billion in Canada from January 2025 to June 2026, with plans to spend an additional $7.7 billion through the end of 2027.

The investments are expected to generate over $1.70 in economic impact for every dollar invested by Bruce Power, supporting Canadian businesses and workers during a time of economic uncertainty. The company has also signed agreements worth more than $2.7 billion with Canadian suppliers, including Canada Steel, Ideal Supply, and Shawflex.
