Bulgaria's annual inflation rate slowed down to 4.1% in July, according to Eurostat's flash estimate published on Friday.

This is a decrease from June's 5.2% and May's 6.3%, when Bulgaria recorded its highest inflation since September 2023.

Despite the slowdown, Bulgaria ranked second in the euro area for annual inflation, behind Latvia with 5.6%.

Consumer prices rose by 0.4% in July compared to June, making it the seventh-largest month-on-month increase among EU member states.
