Bulgaria's Inflation Rate Slows to 4.4% in July
Bulgaria's annual inflation rate has slowed down to 4.4% in July from 5.2% in June, according to revised Eurostat data published on August 19.
This marks a second consecutive monthly decline and puts Bulgaria among the euro zone countries with the fastest price growth, matching Cyprus at 4.4%. Romania recorded the highest inflation rate at 8.2%, followed by Lithuania at 5.4%.
The Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) measure showed that Bulgarian consumer prices rose by 0.6% in July, which is the fourth-highest increase in the European Union.
