Bullion Markets Bracing for Volatility Ahead of US Jobs Data

Bullion markets are bracing for another volatile week as investors await key economic indicators and geopolitical developments. US jobs data, including non-farm payroll numbers, will be closely watched to gauge the Federal Reserve's decision-making ahead of its September meeting.

According to analysts, market participants will attempt to price in the probability of a Federal Reserve policy change, leading to increased volatility. Gold and silver prices have already taken a hit, with gold futures on the MCX falling Rs 6,157 or 3.8% last week to Rs 1.56 lakh per 10 grams.

Jateen Trivedi, VP Research Analyst at LKP Securities, noted that the coming week will be highly volatile, and market participants will focus on manufacturing and services PMI data from major economies, including India. Inflation figures from the Eurozone and Germany will also be closely tracked.
