CAD Edges Higher Against INR on Record Capital Inflows
The Canadian Dollar (CAD) has edged higher against the Indian Rupee (INR), driven by a record influx of capital inflows into India. According to Traders Union, over $136 billion in non-resident Indian deposits have strengthened the rupee recently.
The Reserve Bank of India's efforts to boost foreign exchange reserves and stabilize currency movements have also contributed to the rupee's gains amid rising oil prices and higher US Treasury yields.
CAD/INR is trading near a one-month high, with resistance at ₹68.8392. The short-term outlook is cautious, as sellers exert pressure below the 20-day moving average. However, medium- and long-term trends are supported by a bullish setup.
