According to data from Tuesday morning, the CAD was trading at $0.7188 or $1=C$1.3912, compared to Monday's close of $0.7190 or $1=C$1.3909.
The uncertainty surrounding the war in the Middle East continued to affect crude oil prices, with West Texas Intermediate increasing by 1.7% to $103.07 per barrel.
