California State Teachers Retirement System Buys More Bank of Hawaii Shares
The California State Teachers Retirement System has increased its stake in Bank of Hawaii Corporation by purchasing an additional 13,864 shares during the first quarter. The firm now owns 51,059 shares, representing a 37.3% increase from the previous quarter.
This move comes as other institutional investors have also boosted their holdings in the bank. Royal Bank of Canada raised its position by 16.4%, AQR Capital Management LLC increased its stake by 177.5%, and MIRAE ASSET GLOBAL ETFS HOLDINGS Ltd. added to its shares by 4.6%.
The purchase price was not disclosed, but the transaction is valued at $3,791,000, representing 0.13% of Bank of Hawaii's outstanding shares. The bank has a market capitalization of $3.13 billion and a price-to-earnings ratio of 14.78.
