Cambodian Central Bank Leader Earns Top Rating Three Years Running
Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, has been honored with an A- rating by Global Finance magazine for three consecutive years. This recognition is among the top central bank leaders in countries with advanced financial systems.
The ranking, which assesses the effectiveness of central bank leaders in 100 countries, evaluates their ability to implement monetary policy and maintain exchange rate stability while promoting sustainable economic growth.
Chea Serey joins other prominent central bankers, including Martin Schlegel of the Swiss National Bank, Khaled Mohamed Balama Al Tameemi of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Eli Remolona of the Central Bank of the Philippines. Global Finance has published its annual ranking since 1994.
