Canada Launches Solopreneurship Program to Empower Independent Entrepreneurs

At a time when Canada is focused on strengthening its economy through innovation and entrepreneurship, Venture for Canada has launched Solopreneurship, a new six-week hybrid program designed to help Canadians build an independent income stream around a single skill or service.

The program equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills, community, and modern tools needed to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses. Unlike traditional entrepreneurship programs that focus on building companies and growing teams, Solopreneurship centers on individuals who want to operate independently.

Participants learn how to turn their skills into a clear offer, validate it with real customers, develop a revenue strategy, and create the systems needed to run the business. A key part of this model is learning to use AI as an integral part of the operating system, not just standalone tools. This allows solopreneurs to expand what they can accomplish independently.
