Canada Seeks Growth in Asia Through Family Businesses
The National Bank of Canada has released its sixth edition of the Family Advantage report, titled 'Bridging Canada with Asia: Global Family Business Perspectives.'
The report highlights the unique assets that family-owned Canadian businesses have to diversify their markets and seize growth opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.
With a growing desire to diversify its economic partnerships, Canada is turning towards the Asia-Pacific region as a growth engine. National Bank of Canada has been present in the region for over three decades, maintaining relationships with key organizations that promote trade between Canada and Asia.
The report features perspectives from Canadian executives who have built careers in Asian family-run businesses, including Frank J. Sixt of CK Hutchison Holdings and John Witt, former Group Managing Director of Jardine Matheson.
