Canada Seeks Skilled Kenyans Amid Labour Shortages
The Canadian government has announced multiple immigration pathways for skilled Kenyan professionals looking to relocate. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) identified six priority sectors actively recruiting international workers to fill labour market gaps.
The IRCC confirmed that Canada's growing economy is generating strong demand for qualified workers in specific industries. These industries include science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), healthcare, skilled trades, defence and cybersecurity, critical minerals, and education.
The Canadian government highlighted six key benefits for international professionals relocating to Canada. These benefits include exciting career opportunities with diverse employers, safe and stable communities, a culture that embraces different people, ideas, and languages, settlement services, quality education and training, and dedicated support for French-speaking immigrants.
