Canada's Economy Sees Second Straight Month of Growth
The Canadian economy has shown signs of growth in recent months, with May's GDP increasing by 0.3 per cent, marking the second straight month of expansion.
This is a welcome development after a sluggish start to 2026, and Statistics Canada's figures suggest that the country may be on track for a strong second quarter.
Additionally, other economic indicators are also showing improvement, including an increase in exports to the US, which contributed to a four-year high trade surplus in May.
