Canada's TSX Surges Amid Global Market Turbulence

The Globe and Mail provided market data showing that the TSX rose by 0.4% while the S&P 500 increased by 0.11%. The DOW and NASDAQ saw declines of 0.3% and 0.42%, respectively.

The price of oil fell by 2.56%, and the US dollar decreased in value against the Canadian dollar, down 0.07%. Gold prices rose by 0.32%.

Movers on the TSX included WSP-T, which increased by 2.47%, and RY-T, up 0.4%. KEEL-T declined by 7.84%, while SBC-PR-A-T rose by 0.19%.
