Canadian Economy Expands Despite Growing Trade Uncertainty
The Canadian economy continued to show resilience in May, expanding by 0.3% despite growing trade uncertainty.
This marks a second consecutive month of growth for Canada's GDP, following a slower pace over the winter months.
According to data from RBC, the expansion was broad-based across both goods-producing and services-providing industries.
Gains were seen in mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extractions, construction, manufacturing, real estate and rental and leasing, and public administration, among others.
