Cedi Appreciates Against Major Currencies on August 12

The Ghanaian Cedi has shown signs of appreciation against major currencies on August 12, according to data from Cedirates.com.

The average buying rate for the US dollar was GHS11.61, representing a five-pesewa appreciation compared to Tuesday's rates.

At forex bureaus, the Cedi traded at GHS12.10 for dollar purchases and GHS12.45 for sales. On the Bank of Ghana interbank market, it was trading at GHS11.73 for buying and GHS11.75 for selling.
